A few more goodies... Handmade Gifts

Here are a few more goodies I have been working on...

This Winter Rag Wreath is a gift, but I'm hoping the recipient doesn't read my blog before Christmas! This one reminds me of snow and cold weather-what do you think?  I love the effect of the white tulle too!  There are million tutorials out there on how to do these too!  Just google Rag Wreath or something like that!  They are SOOOO easy and fun, but sometimes time consuming!

This Deer pillow was a gift to my father in law.  Sorry, but I can't remember where I found this idea, but the person I got the idea from said that Pottery Barn (I think) was selling one like this for $80-YIKES!  This one cost me much less than that!
(once I remember where I got this idea, I will post a link!)
More to come...

Getting back on the horse

Bear with me - I'm still pretty new at this blogging thing...

I've been doing LOTS O Crafting lately trying to keep up with a homemade Christmas!
Some things I've been working on lately:
Not completely sure where I got the idea for these, but the first is like a tinsel garland stuffed into a glass ornament and the second one is a packaging ribbon (You know the ones you put on top of a present). This pair is actually sold, but the one on the bottom (in the blue) can be purchased in my etsy shop www.sewmamaz.etsy.com .
I'm partying here this week:

Let's try this AGAIN!

Why is blogging so hard to keep up with? I read about a million and four blogs a week. Let's see if I can keep up here again!

Where have I been for the last 2 years? No where really! I started an etsy shop in 2010 - you can check it out here:

www.mamaziggycreations.etsy.com

I make all kinds of fun hair accessories for this shop.

Then this past summer I opened a 2nd etsy shop for my newer hobby - sewing! You can find this shop here:

www.sewmamaz.etsy.com

I follow a ton of crafting blogs and LOVE trying new things! I have lots of ideas in my head and really would love to find the time to put them all into something real!

Stick around and maybe there will be tutorials, reviews and more!!!
